NiRis - an update

Just updated !

Here the latest news about NiRis.

So far I did build the infrastructure to install and run the code to handle the basic functionalities, including the connection via Bluetooth with a smartphone.
I also did build a second prototype, using different displays (TFT vs. OLED) to see the differences and anyway having a second machine for tests.

I'm completing the exchange of parameters between the smartphone (for now Android) and the NiRis-head via bluetooth using ASN.1 as way to encode the data.

The next phase is to design and implement the algorithm to simulate a normal eye behavior and then different possible illness, allowing the smartphone to set up different parameters.

I'm working with a eye surgeon to collect information for the simulation.
The main goal of this project is to have a low cost simulator to train eye doctors on some illness and diagnose techniques.
