Recycling an old toy

For some tests for a project I needed a moving base.
The ideal would be a robot, many kits are available now.
But before to spend money I wanted to see if some results were achievable and the quality of a camera.
So I did find an old toy made years before with my daughter and ...
... time to modify it !

The platform

The final goal is to have a vehicle capable to move and make a video recording.
To do so I choose a Raspberry Pi with the 5 Mp camera and hooked it over the robot platform (after removing the original stuff.

The USB battery powering the Raspberry. Really too heavy 

The next step, after few tests, is to add a power management (rPoF) with a smaller battery, positioned in a way to don't destabilize the robot and a pan&tilt to the camera in order to be able to set a specific angle and direction.
