Cooling the server area - Peltier way - the idea

Time ago I did buy a Peltier unit cooling contraption.

There are many different types on the market, I think mine is a 50W unit already assembled with 3 fans, two for cooling down the
hot" side, and one to push the cold air.

Years ago .. almost 10 !!! I did set up a cooling system for the server area, basically a under stairs area in garage. 

Is time to try to improve the system.

Repairs - ASUS TUF FC705G fan replacement

Notes about the replacement of both fans (CPU/GPU) to an Game computer ASUS TUF FX705G.

The PC is a game laptop and fans are really a necessity to dissipate the heat generated by the CPU and the embedded GPU.
When they fails (not if, when) the system become quite unusable, noisy and incredibly hot even on the keyboard.

 The server has 3 high speed industrial grade fan to keep it cool.

They are great but are quite noisy.

More understanding about how to control them is needed.

The old System76 server has now new HDs and more RAM and is cleaned up.

Time to install the OS.

Cooling the server area

Problem, cool down the server area.

The server is placed under a stair and the server area is insulated.
The area is in contact with the garage and the laundry room and of course the garage of course is not an insulated area, but the laundry it is.
Thus the idea : drill a hole in the stairs and connect a fan to aspire the fresh air from the laundry room.
