During one of my excursions on flea markets, I did find a AirThings Wave Plus.
For 10$ I decided to buy it and try it out (the normal cost is around 230$).
The Wave Plus is an air quality, plus radon, measurement instrument.
Quite interesting.
It is paired via BLE with a phone and via that, to the AirThings IoT where is possible to access the historical.
The Wave Plus collects these data :
- Radon (pC/iL- picocuries per liter)
- Volatile Organic Compound (VOC - ppb - part per billion)
- CO2 (ppm - part per million)
- humidity (%)
- Temperature (F/C)
- pressure (inHG - inches of mercury)
It is working fine, however it has a problem.
If the phone is not running the app, the data are not sent to the cloud when the Wave Plus collects them.
The Wave Plus store internally enough data for a week, but without a phone connected to the Wave Plus, there is no update to the cloud and thus the storing is stopped to the last time the phone was connected.

There are three solutions :
- pick up an old phone, pair it and leave it always on with the app running
- buy a hub from AirThings
- build a hub with a Raspberry Pi
Resources
- AirTighs - hub with a Raspberry
